Double Trouble…as Art Macabre turns 2 on 30th October!

It’s hard to believe that Art Macabre Drawing Salons have been going on nearly two whole years already. From our beginnings at The Victoria pub in the East End, to our move to regular home of Cass Art in Islington, we’ve grown over the last 24 months to hosting salons at least once a month with a lovely bunch of familiar friends and regular modelling talent. Whether you’re a fresh face Art Macabre virgin, or one of our original ghastly crew who’s journeyed with us so far, please do join us for a celebration in true deadly drawing, skeletal sketching style on the eve of All Hallow’s Eve and get ready to see double as we celebrate our 2nd anniversary at an extra special event!

Tuesday 30 October 2012
@Cass Art, Islington
7.30pm doors for 8pm start. Til 10pm
Drinks afterwards at Wenlock and Essex til late

As Art Macabre turns two on the eve of All Hallow’s Eve, join Raven Rouge and her ghastly crew to celebrate with a lethal double dose of skeletal sketching and gorey drawing fun.

A 2nd birthday Halloween themed special of London’s only ‘death drawing’ salons, featuring a carnival of the macabre that will revive some of our favourite nude and costumed characters from the past 2 years of events, including Jackie-O-Lantern, killer roller girls and more. Come and explore the theme of reflection, double, echoes, doppelgangers and twins at an Art Macabre Megamix from the past salons!

Part of the Big Draw 2012, expect with experimental drawing exercises, prizes and a feast of funereal themed sweet treats. Come dressed to kill, or have a macabre make-over at our “Drop Dead Gorgeous Funeral Beauty Parlour” when you arrive!
